What is Breast Reduction Surgery ?
Breast reduction surgery is done to decrease the size of the breast in order to have a smaller size of the breast. There a lot psychological problems and issues and many personal embarrassments linked with the condition of oversized breast. The problem of oversized breast is common in both men and women who face numerous problems and are concerned with their looks or appearance. Female Breast reduction surgery (mammoplasty) is done to take out the extra fat, skin and glandular tissue in order to have a proper breast size according to the body. Gynecomastia or 'male breast' is the presence of glands in the male chest area. Male breast reduction cannot be done with the help of exercises or diets, surgery is the only treatment available.
Breast Reduction also known as reduction mammaplasty. The goal of breast reduction surgery is to reduce the size of your breasts and reshape them so that they are proportionate to the rest of your body and are no longer a source of physical discomfort. This commonly requested, predictable procedure has the dual benefits of improving your appearance while relieving the physical and emotional burden of overly large breasts.

Types of Breast Reduction
There are several types of breast reduction techniques. The type that is appropriate for your situation depends on the amount of reduction desired, the composition of breast tissue, and your personal preferences regarding the placement of incisions. The most common breast reduction techniques include:
Free nipple graft (FNG) involves removing your nipple and grafting it in a new location on your breast. Your surgeon removes breast tissue while your nipple is off, and then grafts your nipple back into place.
Liposuction involves injection and suction of fatty tissue and usually leaves little or no scarring.
Pedicle method involves making a circular incision around your areola (the dark area that surrounds your nipple) to remove breast tissue.
Anchor incision is an extension of the pedicle method with an incision that runs vertically down from the areola to the bottom of your breast and into a semi-circle around the bottom of your breast. This makes an anchor-like incision.
LeJour incision is an extension of the pedicle method with an incision that runs vertically down from the areola to the bottom of your breast and stops at your chest wall.
Stevens laser bra uses a laser and the extra skin that would normally be discarded to create a permanent internal support structure for your breasts.
